Anseongmatchum Namsadang Baudeogi Festival

The Anseongmatchum Namsadang Baudeogi Festival introduces Korea’s traditional performing arts through Namsadang Nori, a UNESCO-recognized intangible cultural heritage. Inspired by the story of Baudeogi, known as the first female kkokdusoe troupe leader of the Joseon era, the festival features tightrope walking, Namsadang performances, traditional culture experiences, and performances from Korea and abroad. Visitors can also enjoy a recreated old Anseong marketplace and a range of programs suitable for families and international travelers.
