About this pop-up
Suwon Hwaseong Media Art is a nighttime media art festival set against Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In 2026, the festival will present light, video, and performance programs around Hwaseomun Gate, Jangan Park, and Janganmun Gate under the theme “Saebit Dongrak: Suwon Hwaseong, Blooming in Light.” Visitors can discover the history of Suwon Hwaseong and the stories of its people through large-scale media art and interactive content.
