About this pop-up
Gwangju’s signature cultural festival commemorates the 400th anniversary of the construction of Namhansanseong Fortress and highlights the historical and cultural value of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Held throughout Namhansanseong Provincial Park from September 18 to 20, the festival presents performances and stage programs that blend tradition with contemporary culture. Visitors can also enjoy hands-on history and culture experiences, citizen participation programs, and an interactive art market.
