About this pop-up
Yangdong BACK TO THE Jang Hongtak Festa is a traditional market festival celebrating hongtak, the pairing of Yangdong Market’s signature fermented skate with locally brewed Gwangju takju. Visitors can explore a variety of hongtak food stalls and sample regional makgeolli, including Mudeungsan and Bia makgeolli, for KRW 1,000 per cup. The program also features receipt cashback rewards, culinary experience vouchers, an opening performance, song and dance contests, a culinary show with master chef Ahn Yu-seong, and an EDM DJ party.
