About this pop-up
The 2026 DMZ OPEN Festival is Gyeonggi Province’s multidisciplinary cultural event exploring the DMZ’s significance for peace, ecology, and history through art, academic programs, sports, and more. Held across the DMZ area of Gyeonggi Province, it invites visitors to walk, listen, observe, and reflect while discovering the region’s preserved ecosystem and the possibilities of peace and coexistence. The festival is open to all ages, and most programs are free, although fees apply to some activities.
